Stuart Lerner, MD, leads his practice in Kailua, Hawaii, as a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician.

Dr. Lerner treats the whole person with a variety of natural and complementary treatments not offered in most physician’s offices, as well as traditional medicines. This includes Testosterone treatment in men, HRT in women, and weight loss injectable medicines for all.

Dr. Lerner received his medical degree in 1986 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at SUNY, Stony Brook in Bay Shore, New York. 1989.

Dr. Lerner has previously been certified in advanced cardiac, pediatric, and trauma life support, and has an advanced certification in EKG interpretation from the American College of Cardiology.

For his work, Dr. Lerner has received several awards, including the Award for Excellence in Academics, Teaching and Leadership, from Southside Hospital, NY.

He teaches students in schools of medicine, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students from various schools including Yale University, USC, and John Burns School of Medicine.

Katherine Filbeck

Katherine Filbeck is a post graduate of Hawaii Pacific University School of Nursing and is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over two decades of experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Women’s Healthcare and Aesthetic Medicine—providing primary and emergency medical care services as well as aesthetic & anti-aging procedures. Katherine is also passionate about delivering healthcare to underserved communities in Hawaii, Thailand & South America.

Christina Economos

MD

Dr. Economos is a versatile physician with an extensive 10-year history in Family Medicine. She is passionate about instilling a holistic approach to the care of her patients. Dr. Economos started her healthcare career in Hawaii on Molokai where she was the Chief Medical Officer at Molokai Community Health Center. She then worked at the Kalihi Palama and Waikiki Health Centers. Dr. Economos treats both adult and pediatric patients, with a special focus on the management of complex medical issues as well as comprehensive surgical dermatological treatments. Additionally, she has expanded her practice as a Hepatitis B & C specialist and is passionate about the management of metabolic disorders (diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia) with a special focus on prevention of stroke and cardiovascular disorders.

Prior to her career in medicine, she was a Wall Street trader and corporate analyst for several fortune 500 mutual fund companies. It was the terrorist attack on Sept 11, 2001 in New York that inspired her to revive her childhood dream of becoming a doctor and motivated her to enroll in medical school.

Dr. Economos graduated with a dual MD degree and Master of Science degree in Hyperbaric Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in 2009. She completed a Prostate Cancer Research Fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle after participating in the General Surgery residency programs at University of Washington and Case Western Reserve University. She is Board certified with the American Board of General Practice, is an associate professor at the American College of General Medicine and affiliate member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Franchesca Jensen

DNP

Dr. Franchesca Jensen, DNP-FNP-C is a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. She has three years of specialized experience in interventional pain management, including neck and spine pain, general orthopedics, and ultrasound-guided joint steroid injections and will see patients for focal pain in the shoulders, lower back, hips and knees. She has recently added to her role as a Family Medicine Specialist and will focus on managing chronic care for diabetes, Medicare annual wellness visits, and will ensure that recommended age-related care is carried out by emphasizing primary health prevention screenings and patient education.

Franchesca’s clinical philosophy centers on treating each patient as a unique individual, incorporating a holistic approach to ensure well-rounded and comprehensive care. Her commitment to well-being extends beyond her professional life, as she actively engages in family hikes with her husband and two young sons, pilates, and strength training. An avid snowboarding enthusiast, she also provides valuable nutritional guidance to her patients, integrating lifestyle and wellness strategies into her care.
